Job Summary

• This role involves preparing shipments, assisting with loading/unloading, verifying delivery details, and ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the courier/driver in loading and unloading packages from vehicles.
• Accompany the driver on delivery and pick-up rounds to provide additional handling assistance.
• Ensure parcels are properly packed, labeled, and handled to prevent damage.
• Verify delivery addresses and customer details before dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, returns, and exceptions.
• Assist in completing delivery paperwork and updating tracking systems.
• Escalate customer complaints or special requests to the appropriate department.
• Assist in checking delivery equipment (trolleys, straps, etc.) for proper condition.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum OND or equivalent.
• Prior experience in logistics, delivery, or warehouse work is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with basic record-keeping and delivery procedures.
