Cost and Claim Focal Engineer at Swift Consulting

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage claims related to project costs, contracts, and delays.
• Conduct cost analysis and provide financial reports to support project decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions related to claims and payments.
• Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and contractors to resolve disputes.
• Prepare and present cost-related reports to senior management.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for cost efficiency.
• Assist in contract negotiations and risk assessments related to claims.
• Oversee project cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Evaluate and manage claims related to project costs, contracts, and delays.
• Conduct cost analysis and provide financial reports to support project decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost control and claims management within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong understanding of contract management, claims resolution, and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in cost control software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
