Job Summary

As our Corporate Lawyer, you'll join our dynamic team of legal experts, providing top-tier legal services to businesses operating in Nigeria. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of Nigerian corporate law and exceptional analytical skills, you'll guide clients through complex business transactions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on corporate and commercial matters, including company formations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring within the Nigerian legal framework. 
• Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate documents such as shareholder agreements, memoranda of understanding, and commercial contracts. 
• Ensure clients' compliance with Nigerian corporate laws, regulations, and stock exchange requirements. 
• Provide legal counsel on corporate governance issues, directors' duties, and shareholders' rights under Nigerian law and assist in due diligence processes for corporate transactions and investments in Nigeria. 

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from an accredited Nigerian university.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience in Nigeria, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Barrister at Law qualification from the Nigerian Law School.
• Proficiency in legal research databases and software applications used in Nigeria.

Salary

• N300,000- N350,000
