Role Description

• The purpose of this role is to conceptualise and realise ideas through a comprehensive use of language and the written word. To think in a holistic way about how an idea comes to life through all creative channels of a consumer experience.
• Develop language and copy in short and long form to establish the tone of ideas, write persuasive, engaging text designed to promote products, build brand awareness, and compel the target audience to take a specific action.

Job Role / Core Responsibilities

• Express ideas with clarity; on brand; on message and targeted to audience.
• Present ideas to the internal and external team with structure and clarity.
• Understand brand continuity, brand guidelines and brand positioning.
• Conduct research into Betpikr's target audience demographics, psychology and market trends to ensure creative message resonates effectively.
• Creatively support the effective use of technology and its application to solve marketing problems.
• Ensure and maintain high quality response to creative briefs, schedule regular reviews, optimize feedback channels, creative quality and collaboration.
• Proactively identify opportunities for creative output.
• Create clear, persuasive text across formats including email campaigns, website landing pages, social media, advertisements and product descriptions.
• Partner with the Brand & Visual Designer,  product team, marketing team, public relations team and web developers to create unified campaigns.
• Develop Betpikr's content strategy and identify the key brand content pillars.
• Create monthly content calenders aligned to the content pillars for social and other marketing channels.
• Adapt creative copy to be used across ATL and BTL channels, message should be created and fit for purpose.
• Develop Betpikr's FAQ's using data from marketing, product and CRM teams.
• Integrate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies and keywords to maximize the organic reach of web content.

Qualification

• 3+ years experience working as a copy and content writer, telling brand narratives for both offline and online channels.
• Strong portfolio of brands worked on across various industries and sectors.
• Clarity and adherence to advertising regulations guidelines.
• Mastery over grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure and the ability to simplify complex data into highly relatable messaging.
• Understanding of sales psychology, message hooks and crafting powerful call-to-action (CTAs).
• Capability to switch tone and style between different products and platforms.
• Technical literacy and proficiency with content management systems (CMS), digital analytics platforms, basic AI tools and keyboard research software.
• Attention to detail, fact-check, refine and edit drafts skilfully to ensure flawless grammar and selling.
• Diverse portfolio of proven creative works to show skill and competence.
• Creative awards on copywriting is a bonus.
• Published works is an advantage.
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, English, Journalism or a related field is an education requirement.
