Cook / Kitchen Assistant at Jesuit Memorial College

Job Summary

• The cook will ensure that he/she prepares and delivers good menus as planned to the students and members of staff as at when due with the highest standard of hygene and cleanliness that Jesuit Memorial College is known for.
• The cook will help to clean, wash effectively and efficiently every kitchen utensils and cleaning of the dinning hall in use at the kitchen.
• Such should be of noble character, humble and ready to carry out other responsibilities as could be assigned by the management.
• Applicants for the position of Kitchen Assistant should have a pre-knowledge of cooking. Such is obliged to to carry out all other duties in the kitchen apart from cooking.
• Above all, every staff in Jesuit Memorial College is a role model to the students.

Qualifications

• OND, SSCE, and NECO is required. Any catering qualification is essential for your application to be considered.

Experience:

• At least 2 years experience in a similar role. Any other experience relating to making of pasteries is an advantage to the cook.

Personal Qualities:

• Effective communication and presentation skills, good command of English Language, a good understanding of adolescent psychology, good interpersonal skills, a team player, ability to work effectively with minimum supervision, proficiency in the use of industrial cooking gas.
