Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Cook to prepare high-quality meals while maintaining hygiene and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meal preparation, kitchen organization, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and recipes
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking utensils
• Monitor food stock levels and report shortages
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
• Assist in menu planning and food preparation processes
• Minimize food wastage and manage portion control

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or relevant culinary training
• 2–4 years’ experience as a cook in a restaurant, canteen, or catering setting
• Knowledge of local and continental dishes is an added advantage
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
