Control Room Operator at Halogen Group

Job Summary:

• The Control Room Operator monitors operations from a central room, ensuring smooth operation and quick response to system issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage security enhancement technology -CCTV, RVS, IDS and Trail camera system
• Maintain records of equipment performance and maintenance schedule to ensure equipment availability and reliability.
• develop security drill schedule and conduct periodic security drills and exercises.
• Emergency response - communicate with relevant workgroups in emergency management and activate specific emergency alarm as appropriate.
• Coordinate all public announcements to the workforce as may be required from time to time.
• Activate alarms (emergency, shelter-in-place, etc.) and timely dispatch of quick response team during emergencies

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role ( security).
• At least 1-2 years experience in a security control room or related role ( CCTV monitoring, dispatch, emergency response etc.)
• Proficient in using CCTV systems, two-way radios and security software.
• Knowledge of control systems and monitoring tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Minimum HND or BSc in any disciple
• Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Basic computer and communication skills.
