Content Officer at Mentally Aware Nigeria

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Content Lead at MANI located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Content Lead will create, improve, and maintain engaging content to promote a positive image of the organisation. Drive brand awareness by being involved in all stages of the communication process, from concept to message development to result-oriented evaluation. Advocate for mental health awareness through creative and impactful storytelling.

Qualifications

• BSc. A bachelor's degree in Communication, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a content officer, or a similar role, preferably within the non-profit or advocacy sector.
• Excellent knowledge of content creation.
• Ability to effectively use a variety of social media platforms and Analytic tools.
• Analytical and multitasking skills.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues, advocacy, and related terminologies.
• Computer Literate: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, WordPress

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Promote a culture of safeguarding by ensuring that all online interactions are respectful and safe.
• Ensure all content protects the dignity and privacy of individuals, particularly those with lived experience of mental health issues.
