Content Creator (Photography, Videography & Video Editing) at Solardero

Job Summary

• At Solardero Foundation, we believe every outreach has a story worth telling.
• We are looking for a creative and passionate Content Creator to capture and produce compelling visual stories from our programs and events.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for photography, videography, and editing engaging short-form and long-form content that showcases our impact across Nigeria.
• This role is project-based and ideal for someone who enjoys travel, storytelling, and creating meaningful content.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photos and videos during outreaches, trainings, events, and field activities using Solardero Foundation’s equipment.
• Travel with the team to project locations across Nigeria when required.
• Edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
• Edit long-form videos for YouTube, documentaries, reports, and promotional content.
• Edit videos captured by other team members when required.
• Organize and maintain photo and video files.
• Work closely with the communications team to tell compelling stories that highlight the Foundation’s impact.
• Deliver edited content within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• Education: HND, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent. Relevant experience is highly valued.
• Experience: 2+ years in photography, videography, content creation, or video editing.

Skills:

• Strong photography and videography skills.
• Excellent video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar software.
• Strong storytelling and content creation ability.
• Experience creating both short-form and long-form content.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for field assignments.
• Based in Lagos State.
