Job Responsibilities

• Develop creative and engaging content ideas that align with the brand's overall strategy and goals.
• Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to inform content development and optimization.
• Create high-quality written, visual, and audio content across multiple platforms, including social media, blogs, websites, and podcasts.
• Optimize content for search engines and user engagement, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
• Track and analyze content performance metrics, such as traffic, engagement, and conversions, and use data to inform future content strategy.
• Manage and maintain content calendars and ensure timely and consistent delivery of content.
• Continuously experiment with new content formats and distribution channels to drive innovation and engagement.
• Conduct regular performance analyses and reports of the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy.
• Setting smart goals for digital media campaigns.
• Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency
• Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of a B.Sc Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field
• Minimum of 2 years proven work experience as a Social Media Manager.
• Proven work experience as a Content Creator or similar role
• Portfolio of published articles
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Excellence in producing video content is an added advantage
• Samples of content created with active links
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
• Time-management skills
• Familiarity with SEO and Social Media Algorithm
• Close proximity to Lekki, Victoria Island, Yaba, Oworoshoki, Gbagada etc
