Contact Center Officer at Alpha's Touch Laundry Service

Job Summary

• We are looking for a smart, friendly, and persuasive Contact Center Officer to join our team.
• You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, complaints and following up on customers through outbound calls and telemarketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer all inbound calls & messages relating to inquiries and complaints from customers, promptly and professionally.
• Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote our laundry services & increase our clientele.
• Handle & manage the company’s social media pages, including DMs and content postings.
• Explain services, prices, and promotional offers clearly to potential customers.
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions and maintain the customer database.
• Assist in scheduling pickups and deliveries with the dispatch team.
• Resolve basic complaints or escalate issues where necessary.
• Provide feedback to the management team on common customer concerns and ideas for service improvement.

Requirements

• OND / HND / BSc Degree from a well known & verifiable Nigerian Institution.
• Excellent verbal communication skills (fluent in English, and preferably Yoruba or Pidgin).
• Understanding the use of Social media is an added advantage.
• Confident, persuasive, and customer-friendly personality.
• Basic computer skills (WhatsApp, email, Google Sheets).
• Previous experience in customer service, telesales, or a contact centre role is an advantage.
• Must live within proximity to the laundry (Surulere,Mushin,Festac,Yaba,Orile).
• Meet weekly/monthly targets for new customer acquisition via telemarketing.
