Construction Project Manager / Construction Builder at Carrillion Construction

• The ideal candidate will exhibit an extensive portfolio encompassing projects executed with esteemed firms, including Dutum Construction Company, ITB Nigeria Limited, Elalan Construction Company, Cappa & D'Alberto PLC, Arbico PLC, Efficacy Group, SANA Group, and Stellar Construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership and Management: Assume complete leadership of construction projects, coordinating efforts to guarantee timely completion within fiscal constraints and to exceptional quality standards. 
• Budget and Cost Management: Leverage financial management expertise to draft, monitor, and administer precise project budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the project. .
• Risk Management and Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential risks and develop well-defined mitigation strategies to protect project progress. 
• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce rigorous quality control procedures that adhere to industry standards and local building regulations. 
• Safety Compliance: Promote an unwavering commitment to health and occupational safety at all construction sites. 
• Reporting and Documentation: Compile and deliver comprehensive project reports to executive management and relevant stakeholders, encompassing critical aspects such as project status, financial performance, and any deviations from the original plan.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 15-20 years of demonstrated experience in construction project management and building.
• Significant previous experience with distinguished firms such as Dutum Construction Company, ITB Nigeria Limited, Elalan Construction Company, Cappa & D'Alberto PLC, Arbico PLC, Efficacy Group, SANA Group, and Stellar Construction is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational capabilities to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
• Piling, block setting, mechanical and electrical work, finishing, high-rise, mid-rise, and various construction level experience.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• PMP certification and/or additional relevant professional accreditations are preferred.
