Community Relations Manager at Sellafield Energy

Job Responsibilities:

• Engagement and interaction with host community
• Provide support to Business Development on community budgets for project;
• Preparation of community management plans for project;
• Preparation of community engagement plans and budgets for host communities
• Preparation interventions in host community;
• Create and maintain a comprehensive log of company CSR interventions in host communities;
• Coordinates, organizes and heads efforts to represent company favourably in host communities, project and corporate;
• Plans programs that promote good will and fosters relationships with community leaders;
• Coordinates the approval process for all payments to communities;
• Screening community requests for financial and other support and advise company as appropriate;
• Shall coordinate the execution of the company community policy;
• Shall maintain proper interface with community to avert issues of work stoppages or protests from community against company interests;
• Shall liaise with project team to ensure that friendly community environment is provided for work at all times;
• Interface with all relevant security agencies along the project impacted areas for effective security cover and information sharing;
• Ensure strict compliance with the site specific security plan in                consonance with client’s SOP to guarantee a hitch free
• Coordinates, organizes and heads efforts to represent company favourably in host communities, project and corporate;
• Coordination of the activities of the local security surveillance within the project impacted communities along the RoW for critical company equipment;
• Coordination of access control in liaison with the HSE Rep at project site;
