Community Coordinator at Zap Africa

About the job:

At Zap Africa, we're at the forefront of blockchain technology, aspiring to drive transformative change across industries. We're looking to add a talented Community Coordinator to our team to accelerate our mission and increase our efficiency.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and implement strategies to foster a sense of belonging among our community members
• Planning, promoting, and executing community events, both in-person and virtual
• Engage with community members on social media platforms to foster meaningful interactions and gather feedback
• Create and curate content for social media posts, blog articles, and newsletters to keep the community informed and engaged
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful execution of community initiatives
• Monitor and analyze community feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth
• Support the Marketing team in other tasks and projects as needed

What we seek:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in social media platforms (WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, etc)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for community engagement and making a positive impact
• Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and visual.
• A collaborative mindset, eager to work with teams across different departments and domains.
• Proactive and self-motivated, able to work autonomously in a remote setup.
