Communications Specialist at AccelerateTV

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Communications Specialist at ACCELERATE. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including communication, writing press releases, strategic communications, and internal communications.

• Develop effective corporate communication strategies
• Manage internal communications (memos, newsletters etc.)
• Draft content (e.g. press releases) for mass media or company website
• Organize initiatives and plan events or press conferences
• Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc.
• Foster relationships with advocates and key persons
• Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in writing press releases and strategic communications
• Strong writing skills
• Experience in internal communications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of media and entertainment industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, or related field
