Commissioning Manager (Supervisory Role) at KBR Inc

• KBR is a looking for a Commissioning Engineer / Manager to act in an advisory role to support the commissioning and start-up of the Port Harcourt and Warri refineries. Port Harcourt being expected to start up first. Both are to start producing gasoline for Nigeria’s internal consumption.

Education And Experience Requirements

• BSc / B.Eng. Degree in Engineering or HNC in relevant subjects is preferred.
• Previous experience in the commissioning of Greenfield & Brownfield refinery systems
• good understanding of commissioning safety, field engineering, and project handover requirements.
• The successful candidate shall have a minimum 10-15 years’ experience in the oil & gas and refining industries.

Key Responsibilities For The Role Include

• Advise client on managing and planning all commissioning activities, including temporary equipment, vendor support, resources, etc.
• Review and advise on client / contractor commissioning strategies & procedures.
• Advise on training and development requirements for client commissioning and operations personnel.
• Provide general support and direction to the client commissioning team as required.
• Work closely and collaboratively with the clients and EPC Contractor Construction & Commissioning Managers.
