Job Summary / Role description

• He/She cooperates with Operation and Maintenance group during the Operation phase as per project requirements.
• She/He operates in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assistance during Operation Phase.
• To assist and advice the O&M Manager and the Operation team in trouble shooting the process problems related to the project.
• To assist and advice the Operation Team in the finalization of utilities, feed stocks and products consumption schedule.
• To verify the preparation of the procedure for the filling of catalysts, chemicals, resins and feed stocks to the equipment and coordinate the a.m. activities.
• To participate to the rely-upon item (part of technology know-how) internal inspection or verification. 
• To lead in the check of the functionality of interlocks, logic and sequence and ensure that they are in line with process requirements as detailed in the narrative.
• When requested by the O&M Manager to follow the operations in the field;
• Verify the operating conditions and, in case of need, provide temporary plant modification to allow machines or packaged units to operate;
• Assist and verify the machine or Vendor-packaged unit performance test to ensure compliance with the Process requirement (guaranteed performance);
• Participate in the plant operation tests by ensuring the preparation of the related documentation. If the Technology Manager is absent, he is take the lead of the execution of the operation test.
• Provide indication for the plant tuning according to the indication provided by the Licensor
• Support O&M Manager during the operation of the plant.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess a University Degree
• Experiences in Refinery operation
• Plant for the gas treatment

Special Requirements and Comments:

• Attention to detail, and management skills.
• Applicants should have the legal right to work in Nigeria.
