Commis Chef at Domeo Resources International (DRI)

Job Summary

• We are looking for hardworking and enthusiastic Commis Chefs to support food preparation and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and basic cooking duties.
• Prepare vegetables, meats, sauces, garnishes, and other ingredients as instructed.
• Complete mise en place for assigned sections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas.
• Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
• Store food products correctly and practise FIFO stock rotation.
• Assist during service when required.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Culinary training or certificate is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation.
• Good attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
