Commercial Sourcing Associate at Vendease

Job Summary

As a Sourcing Associate, you’ll drive the Vendease growth engine by building relationships with prospective clients and vendors turning them into happy customers and partners, You’ll actively prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on our products and services. As Sourcing Associate you will provide support in the implementation of Buyout Commodity Sourcing programs like Best Cost Country Sourcing, Cost Containment, Cost Reductions, e-Sourcing events and others.

Responsibilities

• Manage and build relationships with key rice manufacturers and distributors across nigeria
• Build a strong logistics relationship with truck hauling partners to fulfill supply
• demands across the country
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to build demand supply plan week-on-week
• Review and file vendor contracts
• Track delivery shipments from manufacturer to delivery location

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field preferred.
• 3 - 4 years of experience in supply chain and order management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in an FMCG or e-commerce environment.
