The Commercial Sales Manager will be responsible for driving B2B sales of petroleum products, focusing on industrial and commercial clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the downstream oil and gas market, capable of developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and partners in the industrial and commercial sectors.
Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new deals.
Proactively identify and pursue potential clients through cold calls, emails, networking, and industry events.
Develop a pipeline of qualified leads and manage the sales process from lead generation to closing.
Lead negotiations and prepare contracts tailored to client needs and company policies.
Ensure timely and accurate deal closure, coordinating with legal and finance teams when necessary.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses for management.
Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
Work closely with the Sales Manager and other team members to align on sales strategies and customer service initiatives.
Collaborate with the product, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification is advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales within the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
