    Collateral Management Officer

    Job Objectives

    • To ensure that the processing of lien (pledge), margin, securities lending and other collateral management task are promptly and efficiently executed to preserve customers’ confidence and satisfaction.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Responsible for Central Securities Depository (CSD) Lien/pledge account management. Create and release lien; produce lien advice; generate, analyze, and disseminate lien information (reporting) to stakeholders.
    • Margin Lending administration. Create Margin account; onboard and offboard clients; detach shares; generate analyze and disseminate information (reporting).
    • Process and execute Securities Lending and Borrowing (SLB) transactions. Detach shares to and from Lender, Agent pool and borrower account.
    • AMCON account management. Perform AMCON global search; detach shares to and from obligors, AMCON collateral, proprietary and trading accounts.
    • Attends to enquiries and complaints from investors, lenders, stakeholders, and regulators.
    • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Unit/Departmental Head.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of a First Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any related discipline from a reputable institution.
    • Relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 1 year post-graduation experience in an Operations role in the Capital Market or any other Financial Service sector.
    • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and analytical tools.
