Cold Room / Chiller Technician at Flux Logistix

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance of chillers, cold rooms, and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and execute corrective repairs on refrigeration systems.
• Monitor system parameters including temperature, pressure, refrigerant levels, and power supply to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure proper functioning of compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, sensors, and control panels.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, fault reports, and repairs carried out.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company maintenance procedures.
• Observe proper refrigerant handling and safe work practices at all times.
• Support facility audits, inspections, and equipment upgrades as required.
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers when specialized repairs or spare parts are required.
