Job Summary

• The CNG Electrical Technician at Dangote Cement Transport Obajana is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems related to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) operations.
• The role involves ensuring the electrical integrity of CNG equipment, performing routine checks, and troubleshooting electrical issues to ensure efficient operation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems for CNG facilities and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and components to identify issues.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and electrical repairs.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to improve system efficiency.
• Assist in the development of preventive maintenance plans.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and outages.
• Ensure proper upkeep of tools and work area hygiene.

Qualifications & Experience

• B. Eng, HND , ND in Electrical Engineering
• Trade Test Certification (Electrical)
• Certification in industrial electrical systems is an added advantage
• 3–5 years experience in industrial electrical maintenance
• Experience with motors, control panels, MCCs, and generators.
