CNC Operator at Proforce Limited

The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to manufacture precision parts and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety and quality standards to ensure production efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, milling, cutting, etc.) to perform precision machining tasks.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to determine machine setup and operation requirements.
• Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure accurate and efficient production.
• Inspect and measure finished products to verify conformity with specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any malfunctions or defects.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams to resolve production issues.

Job Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:

• OND / Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or related fields.
• Specialized training in CNC machine operation is an added advantage.

Experience:

• 2 - 5 years of proven experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and related tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
