    Cloud Engineer

    About the Job 

    We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to work with our engineering team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions.  

    Be part of the team that develops and runs our digital IT platforms, driving innovation in how we deliver to our customers and the rest of the business. 

    To be successful as a cloud engineer, you should have both theoretical and hands-on experience on AWS Services, understanding of service models: IaaS, PaaS & SaaS, comfortable with hosting applications in the Cloud, Setting Databases and configuring services such as CloudFront, Route53, Cognito/IAM, ALB, EC2 etc. 

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Engage in the design, collaborating with product owners, architects and development teams to ensure that solutions help our customers and achieve the desired business goals. 

    • Designing, developing and deploying software applications including Infrastructure design implementation and documentation. 

    • Configuring network and security services such as VPC, NAT Gateway, Internet Gateway, VPN, API Gateway, SSO  etc 

    • Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security. 

    • Collaborate with other Cloud Support/Developers to design, implement and evolve automated CI/CD pipelines in the cloud. 

    • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues. 

    • Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs. 

    • Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives. 

    Qualifications & Experience 

    • Degree in Computer Science or a similar field. 

    • 2- 3 years of experience in the field of cloud computing. 

    • AWS Certifications preferable 

    • Good communication and collaboration skills. 

    • Client management skills. 

    • Understanding of Network architectures suitable for different Cloud topologies. 

    • Awareness in open-source tools & scripting language
