Job Summary

• As the Clearing & Forwarding Officer, you will be responsible for managing import and export documentation, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and ensuring the timely clearance and delivery of consignments.
• You will interface with clients, shipping lines, and customs authorities to support seamless logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process import/export documentation in line with customs and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with customs, port authorities, shipping lines, and terminal operators to ensure timely cargo clearance
• Track and monitor shipment statuses, ensuring prompt release and delivery of consignments
• Communicate with clients concerning shipment updates, documentation requirements, and operational timelines
• Resolve clearance challenges, documentation discrepancies, and regulatory issues efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience in clearing and forwarding within the logistics or freight sector
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, import/export laws, and logistics documentation
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 / month.
