Civil Engineer at Primestix Construction Limited

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, evaluate potential risks, and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Develop detailed engineering designs, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution and resolve any design or construction-related issues.
• Monitor construction progress, conduct quality control inspections, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare and review project reports, including cost estimates, progress updates, and technical documentation.
• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in construction technology, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and drive innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 2+ years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in managing and overseeing construction projects, preferably residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant design software.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Must be a resident of Abuja.
