Civil Engineer at I-Sense Ville Consult

Job Summary

I-SenseVille Consults is currently recruiting for the position of Civil Engineer on behalf of our client in the real estate and construction industry. The role is to supervise civil and structural works on-site, ensuring construction projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with designs, specifications, and quality standards.

Location: Ikota - Lekki, Lagos
Remuneration: 300,000 Monthly Net (Negotiable)
Employment Type: Full Time, On-Site (Mon–Fri)

Key Responsibilities

1. Interpret structural/architectural drawings for execution on site.
2. Plan and schedule construction activities, allocate resources, and coordinate subcontractors.
3. Supervise works relating to earthworks, concrete structures, masonry, steelwork, drainage, roads, piling, etc.
4. Ensure quality control of construction materials (concrete, steel, aggregates, etc.)
5. Enforce strict implementation of health & safety procedures.
6. Prepare daily reports on progress, materials, manpower, and equipment usage.
7. Participate in setting out, leveling, and surveying activities, and resolving site technical issues.
8. Liaise with consultants, architects, suppliers, and local authorities.
9. Provide coaching to site technicians, foremen, and junior engineers.

Education & Experience

1. B.Sc/B.Eng Civil Engineering.
2. 3 years of hands-on project/site experience.
3. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, and construction methodologies.
4. Excellent supervision, problem-solving, and communication skills.
