Chinese Translator at Careers Verified

We are seeking a skilled Chinese Translator with at least HSK Level 5 proficiency to support our translation and interpretation needs. The ideal candidate will translate written documents, provide oral interpretation when required, and help ensure clear and accurate communication between Chinese speaking stakeholders and our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate written documents, emails, contracts, marketing materials, and other content from Chinese to English (and vice versa) accurately and contextually.
• Provide verbal interpretation during meetings, conferences, and business negotiations as needed.
• Assist in reviewing and proofreading translated materials to maintain accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
• Support communication between Chinese partners, clients, and internal teams.
• Ensure all translations are completed within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Collaborate with other departments to support business activities involving Chinese language.

Requirements:

• Minimum HSK Level 5 Chinese language proficiency certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Linguistics, International Relations, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proven experience as a translator or interpreter.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to convey meaning accurately.
