Key Responsibilities

Security of plant assets

• Deployment of guards at all vital, vulnerable & strategic locations.
• Keep the Quick reaction team in readiness at all times.
• Maintain strict implementation of procedures for internal and external material movement
• Ensure proper maintenance of perimeter wall to prevent trespassing.
• Prevent access to unauthorised people at shop floor & office premises by deploying guards at appropriate locations
• Liaison with local administration.

Security of all personnel inside plant premises

• Proper access control procedure at office complexes & maintain entry records.
• QRT to mobilise in shortest time to respond to any situation.
• Plant access to unauthorised personnel to be prevented at any cost.
• Facilitating complaint forum

Material (Movement) management system & prevention of malpractices1. Ensuring strict compliance to material entry/exit procedures.

• Daily briefing of gate guards & strict watch on their work.
• Daily checking of all registers maintained at material movement documentation desk.
• Close monitoring on daily material movement as a shift duty officer.

Traffic management

• Deployment of traffic security guards and QRT.
• Unauthorised parking to be prevented & suitable action taken
• Speed limit violations to be monitored & penalty system to be implemented

Outsourced security manpower management1. Monitoring daily deployment of guards.

• Regular patrolling of perimeter & all plant & guard locations.
• Periodic assessment of security deployment.
• Welfare measures pertaining to outsourced personnel.
• Verification of licenses and background of the indirect outsourced manpower

Prevention of trespassing & efficient gate pass system1. Security checks at gate and ensure valid gate passess.
Monitoring regular checking of perimeter barbed wire to prevent intrusion

Quick Reaction Team1. Formation & maintenance of full-fledged Quick Reaction Team.

• Maintain proper serviceability of QRT vehicle & wireless communication system
• Regular patrolling & area domination.
• Regular check of efficacy & reaction time of the QRT.

Taking quick action in cases of emergencies.1

• Implementation of On Site Emergency Plan for security role & responsibilities
• Training of Contractual security personnel in First Aid & Fire fighting.
• Periodic training of security personnel on all aspects of security procedures
• Mock Drill on various Emergency Scenarios.

Leading and Developing the contractual security personnel1. Rotation of contractual security personnel.

• Clear instructions on role and responsibilities.
• Work instructions.
• Periodic audit of the security system
• In-house training on motivation & leadership

Experience / ExposureSkill Sets

• On ground experience in latest security surveillance systems.Effective leadership skills to lead a team of Security personnel.
• Experience in handling Contractor man power Management system.Knowledge of security processes & procedures.
• Experience in effective liaison with police and local.Strong communication skills with presentable personality.
