Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and experienced Chief Security Officer (CSO) to oversee the safety and security of the organization's personnel, assets, and facilities. The ideal candidate will have relevant security experience, strong leadership abilities, and a proactive approach to risk management, incident prevention, and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and access control measures to safeguard company assets and personnel.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel, ensuring effective coverage and adherence to security protocols.
• Monitor security systems, conduct routine patrols, and investigate security incidents, breaches, or suspicious activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive measures to mitigate security threats and operational risks.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and other relevant authorities when required.
• Prepare security reports, maintain incident records, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies, health and safety regulations, and emergency response procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant security experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Bachelor's Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification.
• Background in military, police, civil defence, or corporate security is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, surveillance systems, and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions during emergencies.
