Chief Security Officer at Atelier Boutique Hotel

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced, disciplined, and proactive Chief Security Officer (CSO) to oversee and manage all aspects of security operations at Atelier Hotels, Asokoro. The CSO will be responsible for safeguarding guests, staff, property, and assets, ensuring compliance with security policies, and maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills, sound judgment, and the ability to implement effective security protocols. Applicants must reside in Abuja.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage hotel-wide security strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of all security personnel to ensure efficiency and compliance with standards.
• Monitor and control access to the hotel premises, ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and assets.
• Conduct regular security patrols and inspections to identify and address potential risks or breaches.
• Oversee the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of CCTV, alarm systems, and other security equipment.
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend preventive measures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and local authorities when required.
• Train and mentor security staff on best practices, emergency procedures, and professional conduct.
• Lead emergency response efforts during incidents such as fire, theft, or safety threats.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational security standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: HND or B.Sc. in Criminology, Security Management, Law, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of proven experience in a senior security management role, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• In-depth knowledge of security operations, risk management, and emergency response procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire discipline and accountability.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with modern security technology and systems (CCTV, access control, etc.).
• Must be physically fit, alert, and able to work under pressure.
• Residency Requirement: Candidates must currently reside in Abuja.
