    Chief Operating Officer (COO)

    Job Summary

    • The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for driving the company’s daily operations, ensuring smooth alignment across partnerships, brand, finance, and technology.
    • The COO will translate strategy into execution, build strong external relationships, and oversee functional teams to achieve growth and operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead day-to-day operations across functional teams (partnerships, brand, administration, and technology).
    • Translate business strategy into actionable plans with measurable milestones and clear deliverables.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (installs, bookings, revenues, partner signups) to ensure consistent achievement of targets.
    • Build and manage strong external relationships with airlines, bus operators, regulators, and key strategic partners.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Number of onboarded partners within the first six (6) months.
    • Booking volumes against monthly and quarterly targets.
    • Cost efficiency: Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and operational spend relative to inflows.
    • Retention and engagement rates across user and partner segments.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
    • An MBA or equivalent is an added advantage.
    • 8 - 12 years’ progressive experience in operations, preferably in aviation, transport, fintech, or technology startups.
    • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to scale teams and manage P&L responsibilities.
    • Demonstrated track record of delivering operational excellence and driving business growth.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Execution-driven, analytical, and highly adaptable in dynamic business environments.

    Salary
    N700,000 - N1,000,000 monthly.
