    Chief of Staff

    Our client, a high-growth edtech startup, is looking for a highly qualified Chief of Staff to report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). From day one, the Chief of Staff will immediately impact the company’s productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing partnerships and program management, and positioning the company and its product to investors, customers and the stakeholders of the sector. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business leadership/management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising, project execution, and interdepartmental collaboration.
    Responsbilities

    • Investor Relations: Support the CEO to achieve fundraising targets, building and growing investor relationships and providing regular reports and timely communications to existing and potential investors.
    • Partnerships: Generate and manage partnerships which have potential to grow the company’s revenues, customer base and brand value, positioning it more strongly in the market.
    • External (Public Relations) & Internal Communication: Develop and execute a PR strategy to position the company as market leader in its category as well as assist the CEO in internal communication to drive alignment.
    • Strategic Alignment of Key Initiatives: Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution with support from the founders and company executives. Also, assist the company team leads in determining and prioritizing business strategies.
    • Operational Alignment within Teams: Revew, design and improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Funding raised and strength of funding pipeline
    • Recurring revenue from Partnerships
    • Completion time and impact of strategic intitiatives
    • Brand equity (for company and CEO)
    • Team Efficiency metrics (OKRs)

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Masters in Business Administration or a similar field
    • 5+ years in a business or management role
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing business/product strategies
    • Proven experience working with C-level executives and directing multiple teams and departments
    • Proven success in a project coordination role
    • Excellent communicator with strong business documentation and presentation skills
    • Experience with data analysis and project reporting
    • Creative, versatile with a bias for action
