Chief Financial Officer at Global Profilers

Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for tracking cash flow and financial planning and analyzing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing strategic directions and managing lower-level financial managers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Providing leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting team
• Drive the company's financial planning, management, and reporting
• Provide management with timely, complete, and accurate financial information for business decision-making
• Developing and managing a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting the mechanism that guarantees a minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs
• Optimize the management of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance the company’s cash position
• Overseeing the company’s budgeting process & ensuring full implementation and monitoring of the agreed budget
• Manage the external audit relationship
• Optimize the business tax liabilities and ensure timely submission of tax returns.
• An adviser to the MD and Board of Directors on how to allocate resources to ensure stability and growth
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the Board

Job requirements/skills/knowledge:

• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Financial management and 4 years in a senior management position.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
• Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
• Experience with corporate governance.
• Proven negotiation skills.
• Experience with budget management, public accounting, and cash flow.
• Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions.
• Ability to inspire confidence and create trust.
• Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
• Ability to strategize and solve problems

• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
