Job Description

Our client a well known and respected Trust Management organisation is setting up an Asset Management Company and is in need of the services of an energetic, strategic and result driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive the business to success. Reporting to the board, the CEO will be primarily responsible for the overall strategic and operational performance of the new venture and the achievements of the its Growth and Profitability agenda. Other key responsibilities include to;

• Effectively manage the enterprise in fulfilment of the declared objectives and within the framework of the policy laid down by Board.
• Design both short term and long-term strategic road maps for the organisation.
• Ensure the implementation and achievement of the strategic road maps,
• Ensure delivery of strategic and operational key performance results, and outcomes, across the organization.
• Lead the identification of target market segments and develop appropriate investment management products for growth. 
• Develop new business opportunities and sustain valuable relationships with investors, private and public sector stakeholders, regulatory agencies, creditors, and other partner institutions to ensure the orgnaisation's continuous expansion and growth.
• Build the organizational structures and business teams to maximize productivity  and performance 
• Participate in hiring and supervision of staff. 
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of of the organisation and define  appropriate performance metrics 
• Facilitate and present periodic business performance review reports to the Board.
• Participate in other Executive Management Committees and other related tasks 

Requirements

• BSc or BA with a minimum of Second-Class Honors (Upper Division).
• An MBA or any other related professional qualification is an advantage
• Must be SEC registered as a sponsored individual 
• Minimum of 15 years diverse experience with at least 5 years in the Investment  Management or Investment Banking sphere 
• Excellent knowledge of the Nigerian Capital Markets and SEC rules and regulations 
• Prior work experience with a Fintech( especially in a digital marketing role) would  be an advantage 
• Good product development and portfolio management capabilities.
• Excellent customer relationship development/management skills
• Effective team player and motivator 
• Superior knowledge of Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word for presentations
