    Chief Executive Officer

    Location: Yola, Adamawa
    Reports To: GMD & Board of Directors

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop a strong vision for the Company Limited in alignment with the priorities established by the board
    • Develop frameworks that translate strategic and operational objectives into measurable and achievable business results.
    • Provide leadership oversight and drive all operations and business activities from the pilot stage to execution
    • Formulate and champion strategies, high-quality business initiatives and processes that support profitable execution
    • Responsible for the project execution of the Company’s rice business.
    • Expand and diversify the scope of the deliverables across the agricultural value chain leveraging on advanced technology and knowledge of the business landscape.
    • Collaborate with businesses, government (state and local), educational institutions, host community and other economic development organizations to drive sustainable community engagement initiatives and projects with the potential to improve the quality of lives of community members.
    • Develop and execute strategies to address energy use, resource conservation, recycling, pollution reduction and waste elimination.
    • Closely monitor the organization’s operating and financial results against plans and budgets.
    • Advice the Board of Directors on business requirements; identify present and future requirements in line with operational and business aspirations.
    • Maintain an ongoing dialogue and reports with the Board of Directors.
    • Champion the development and implementation of organizational/divisional processes and procedures.


    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or Business-related discipline.
    • A Master's Degree or MBA is required.
    • Minimum of 10 years senior management experience in Agribusiness or Manufacturing
    • Extensive knowledge and experience in strategic business management, formulating and executing strategic plans, strategic analysis,s, and review & strategic market development.
    • Knowledge of quality and food safety management
    • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
    • Quality assurance process design for startup operations
    • Good communication skills.
    • Strong leadership skills,
    • Demonstration of trustworthiness: integrity, and excellence.
