Responsible for providing technical leadership to the engineering team.
Oversee the design, installation, and deployment of base station equipment, ensuring that it meets the required specifications and standards.
Responsible for monitoring and optimising the performance of the base station network. This includes analysing network data, conducting performance evaluations, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing corrective measures to enhance the overall network performance.
Planning and coordinating equipment maintenance activities to ensure the base station operates reliably and efficiently. This involves developing maintenance schedules, managing equipment inventory, and coordinating repairs and upgrades as necessary.
Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. This includes managing staffing, training, and performance evaluations. Additionally, you would collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as network operations, project management, and procurement, to ensure smooth coordination and execution of base station activities.
Responsible for managing the engineering budget and resources effectively. This involves planning and forecasting resource requirements, managing expenses, and making strategic decisions to optimize the allocation of resources.
Research emerging technologies, evaluate their potential impact, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the base station's performance, capacity, and efficiency.
REQUIREMENT:
A bachelor's degree or Masters in electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, or related field is required.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experiences
In-depth knowledge and expertise in base station technologies and equipment are crucial. This includes a strong understanding of wireless communication systems, radio frequency (RF) engineering, antenna systems, network protocols, and base station deployment methodologies.
Proficiency in relevant software tools for network optimization and analysis is also desired.
