Job description

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts, bank statements, and client payments.
• Monitor cash inflows and outflows, including rent collections, sales proceeds, and project expenditures.
• Implement effective cost control and budgeting
• Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Ensure proper documentation of transactions
• Maintain accurate records of all client accounts.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and company policies.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulators as required.
• Advise management on investment opportunities, funding options, and financial risks.
• Provide financial analysis to support pricing strategies, project feasibility studies, and expansion plans.
• Participate in business strategy meetings, providing insights on financial implications of key decisions.
• Lead, train, and mentor finance and accounting staff.
• Assign tasks, review performance, and ensure departmental efficiency.
• Promote ethical practices, transparency, and accountability within the department.
