    Job Description

    •  As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, creating and executing menu items, and ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence. Your culinary expertise, creativity, and passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences will contribute to the success and reputation of our establishment.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and create innovative and appealing menu items that align with our culinary concept, customer preferences, and seasonal availability of ingredients.
    • Plan and design menu offerings, taking into account factors such as ingredient costs, portion sizes, dietary restrictions, and food trends.
    • Continuously explore new ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques to inspire and enhance the menu.
    • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation, ensuring adherence to established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
    • Ensure that all dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner, coordinating with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff.
    • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and cleanliness.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food preparation, kitchen organization, and cleanliness to ensure efficiency and compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation, ensuring that every dish meets or exceeds customer expectations.
    • Conduct regular quality checks and taste tests to ensure consistency and address any issues promptly.
    • Implement and enforce proper food handling and safety practices, maintaining compliance with health department regulations and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven 2 years experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the culinary industry.
    • Culinary degree or relevant culinary certifications are required.
    • Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and culinary trends.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
    • Excellent creativity and innovation in menu development and presentation.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage kitchen operations efficiently.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality standards.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, customers, and suppliers.
