Responsibilities

• Preparing intercontinental dishes for expatriates.
• Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service.
• Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary.
• Stock taking and ordering supplies for your station.
• Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback.
• Coordinates daily tasks with subordinates.
• Monitoring Satisfaction of staff and expatriates.
• Responsible for supervising junior chefs.
• Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
• Be fully in charge of managing and training your subordinate.
• Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning.
• Overseeing kitchen equipment purchases, repairs, and ordering restaurant kitchen cleaning supplies.
• Supervising a hygienic and organized working space.
• Choosing the key ingredients for dishes on various menu types.

Qualifications

• Qualification from a Culinary School.
• 3 - 5 years work experience.
• Ability to manage an entire kitchen and work well in a team.
• Budgeting skills to control costs.
• Incredible food preparation abilities.
• Incredible time management skills.
• Ability to create new menu items.
• Ability to develop unique recipes.
• Knowledge of Intercontinental dishes and african food.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
