Assist in surveys to ascertain the locations of natural features and man-made structures on the site,
Takes responsibility for the safety of all Survey equipment, Maintain equipment, and uses by surveying crews.
Perform manual labor, such as cutting light bush for lines during survey operations, carrying stakes, rebar, and other items, and stacking rods.
Place and hold measuring tapes when required in measurements.
Position and hold thevertical rods, or targets, used for sighting to measure angles, distances, and elevations.
Provide assistance in the development of methods and procedures for conducting field surveys.
Assist in recording survey measurements and descriptive data using notes, drawings, sketches, and inked tracings.
Assist in the search for section corners, property irons, and survey points and Controls. Assist in setting out and recovering stakes, marks, and other monumentations.
Establish stakes for benches and cross-section elevations.
Requirements
Candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years relevant work experience.
