    Catering Manager

    Job Summary

    • Provide leadership to the team by overseeing the operations and management of the kitchen daily, with the aim of maximizing profit while minimizing cost
    • Manage the service delivery process of the business, ensuring productivity and operational efficiency.

    Job Description

    • Ensure adherence to all established Standard Operating Procedures relating to food production
    • Ensure adherence to all established Standard Operating Procedures relating to the kitchen operations and service operations
    • Enforce conformance to the established food safety and quality policies
    • Ensure compliance to the standard recipe and measurements
    • Ensure optimum performance in controlling the quality level of product and service, operating costs, customer satisfaction and safety procedures as well as sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene
    • Focus on continuous improvement to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce non-conformance to standards
    • Ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations
    • Ensure all tasks assigned to team members are accomplished on a shift to shift, bulk order and event basis
    • Interface with the management and effectively cascade information to team members
    • Recommend measures for improving work procedures and team members’ efficiency and effectiveness
    • Actively coach and mentor team members to deliver excellent results
    • Conduct training in equipment operations or work and safety procedure during on-the-the job training of new hires.

    Qualification/Requirements

    • Minimum of B.SC or HND qualification in a related field
    • 5 – 10 years food industry experience, experience in the catering industry is an advantage
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 years managerial experience in the restaurant or catering industry
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment
    • Ability to work efficiently with team members
    • Excellent record keeping and supervisory skills.

    Salary
    N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
