Cashier at New Age Mobile Concepts Limited

JOB OBJECTIVES

As a result of the ongoing expansion in our firm, we are looking for an experienced Cashier to provide support to the Finance Department by managing daily receipts and receivable tasks in the office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Confirmation of bank receipt (Alert) from various banks.
• Confirmation of cash received from customers and counter checking,
• Posting of cash and bank receipts on the deployed software.
• Vetting of invoices for correctness of price using the company’s price list.
• Daily reconciliation of invoices against receipts posted on the Elim ERP Software.
• Regular checking of Customers ledgers to ensure correctness of customers’ ledger balances.
• Ensuring that customers with credit facilities are within the approved facility amount.
• Report Daily on total inflow (Receipts) and outstanding from customers
• Ensuring that both Total outstanding from customers and Trade Receivables Ledger are in agreement on daily basis.
• Maintain cash and bank receipts register for manual verification of amounts and correctness.
• Assist with other tasks as needed including monthly Bank Reconciliations, Customer Ledgers Reconciliation and Cash lodgment reconciliation.

QUALIFICATIONS/JOB REQUIREMENTS

• BSc or HND in Accounting or Financer or management related field
• Must have 3-5years relevant experience
• Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of Excel and accounting software
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be disciplined with good interpersonal skills
