Summary

• FMR is looking for a meticulous Cashier to join our client's growing team.
• The ideal candidate will be a key part of our sales operations, providing excellent customer service and accurately managing all sales transactions.
• As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing all financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• You'll be the last point of contact for many customers, so your role is crucial in ensuring a positive and seamless shopping experience.
• You will manage daily sales reports, handle cash and electronic payments, and assist with general store tasks to support the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payments.
• Provide outstanding customer service, answering questions and resolving issues promptly.
• Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking shelves as needed.
• Communicate customer feedback to management.

Requirements

• Minimum OND
• Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in the retail or clothing industry.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
