Our Client, a leading and growing departmental store in Lagos with operations in Benin seeks to employ the service of Cashiers

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Effectively and efficiently executing cash desk operations
• Management of payment processing as well as corrections and refunding processes for customers. 
• Performance tasks related to skimming, counting and change according to Operating Instructions.
• Effectively carry out customer orientation and relations functions
• Maintain a clean and tidy desk
• Provide support to Merchandizers as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT 

• A minimum of SSCE
• Experience in a retail environment, preferably in customer service or as a cashier

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS 

• thorough, accurate and able to work in a fast paced environment
• good numeracy skills
• ability to communicate and relate with customers in a very friendly way
• having a friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude
• energy, drive and a strong can-do attitude (getting -it-done mentality)
