Role Summary:

As a Cardiologist at you will diagnose and treat diseases and conditions of the heart and circulatory system, utilizing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques to provide optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive cardiac evaluations, including physical exams, diagnostic tests, and imaging studies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with heart conditions, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and surgical interventions.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment regimens as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including cardiac surgeons, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and their families about heart disease prevention, management, and treatment options.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to advances in cardiology practice.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from a recognized institution, with specialization in cardiology.
• Valid medical license to practice as a cardiologist in Nigeria.
• Board certification or eligibility in cardiology.
• Proficiency in interpreting cardiac imaging studies, such as echocardiograms and angiograms.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to make evidence-based treatment decisions.
