Job Specifications:
Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or JD) from an accredited institution.
Active bar membership. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of 11 years post-call experience practicing law in the field of capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.
Preferably in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department.
Proven track record of managing and executing complex capital market transactions and mergers and acquisitions deals.
Strong knowledge of securities regulations, corporate law, and transactional matters.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior legal professionals.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
Business acumen and ability to contribute to business development efforts.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
