Cafe Manager at Quintessence Nigeria Limited

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to 

• Oversee the day to day operations of the cafe
• Ensuring that all cafe expenses are within budget and identifying ways to decrease costs 
• Receiving delivered cafe supplies and verifying the correct items and quantities are supplied 
• Preparing weekly work schedules for staff and finding replacement in cases of staff absence 
• Taking inventory of cafe supplies and ordering new stock as needed.
• Resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and customer service 
• Suggesting new menu items based on customers preferences and feedback 
• Identifying and executing strategies to retain and attract customers 

Requirements:

• Extremely outgoing, social empathetic with a passion for culinary arts or similar drive
• Bachelors degree/certification in business administration/management is advantageous 
• Proven management experience in the hospitality industry 
• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations 
• Strong business acumen
• Exemplary management skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills 
• Effective communication skills 
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Passionate, engaged and creative team player with interest in African Art and Culture
