Business Operations Manager at Owens and Xley

(Must Have 5 years managing a luxury salon or similar industry)
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
Salary: N200,000 to N250,000.

We are currently looking to hire a qualified and experienced Salon Operations Manager for our client, a standard luxury salon located in Lekki, Lagos.

Responsibilities

• •Manage and oversee activities and salon operations.
• •Assist in hiring and training staff as required.
• •Arrange and manage the salon employee’s work schedules, considering seasonality for occasions and peak times.
• •Maintain records of staff members which includes their salaries and working schedules.
• •Advertise and promote services and offers  via social media.
• Monitor stock and ordering products as and when required.
• Track the payments received from clients.
• Offer discount bundles and running online competitions to attract new clients.
• Ensure proper cleaning of salon equipment and tools after use and following hygiene practices across all beauty stations.
• Maintain records of all transactions and presenting it to the CEO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
• Exceptional management and leadership skills
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Beauty Salon Manager, Beauty Therapist or a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and analytical skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong negotiation and sales skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Customer-oriented individual and an outstanding problem-solver.
• Good numerical abilities.
• A keen eye on details.
• Good time management skills.
